Photography and video can be an important way of celebrating achievements, promoting martial arts and sharing the Undisputed Fitness & Martial Arts community.

At the same time, we recognise the importance of protecting the privacy and safeguarding of our members, particularly children and young people.

Our Approach

Photographs or videos may occasionally be taken during:

• Classes

• Gradings

• Competitions

• Training events

• Demonstrations

• Camps

• Special events

• Promotional activities

Content may be used on our website, social-media channels and other Undisputed promotional materials where appropriate.

Children & Young People

We take particular care when photographing or filming children.

Where appropriate permission is required, we will seek it from a parent or guardian before using identifiable images of a child for promotional or marketing purposes.

We aim to ensure that images are appropriate and present children positively.

Parent & Guardian Photography

Parents and guardians should respect the privacy of other children when taking photographs or videos.

Images containing other children should not be published or distributed inappropriately.

At certain sessions or events, photography or filming may be restricted for safeguarding, privacy or operational reasons.

Social Media

Official content published by Undisputed should reflect the positive values of our gym and martial arts community.

We will not knowingly publish content that is degrading, inappropriate or likely to place a child at unnecessary safeguarding risk.

Withdrawing Permission

Where our use of an image relies on consent, that consent may be withdrawn by contacting us.

Withdrawal will apply to future use where reasonably practicable. It may not always be possible to remove material that has previously been printed, distributed or shared by third parties.

Professional Photography

Where external photographers or videographers are used, they will be expected to follow appropriate instructions regarding safeguarding, privacy and permitted use of content.
